Our story

We started from a simple conviction: a dog's daily life deserves the same intention we give the home they live in. And the care that surrounds that life — the visits, the questions, the quiet days in between — deserves exactly the same thing.

The name
Pronounced Vayl — rhymes with sail, tale, mail.
The name comes from weid — the oldest root in human language for seeing and knowing clearly. It's the root beneath wisdom, vision, and guide. Everything that comes from truly understanding something.
Vael is what that root sounds like distilled to its most essential form. Ancient in feeling, and entirely our own. A name for what we set out to do: see your dog clearly, and keep that knowing close.
